The Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel is located in Xining City in Qinghai Province and the city is often called the summer city. The hostel is located only about 2.1 kilometers from the center of the city and is nearby the downtown area of Taer Lanasery.
The hotel is an independent four-level building (not including the basement). It has more than 1500 square metres of floor area and has 30 rooms with 110 beds. It is ideal for groups of students, self-catering travelers and back packers. It is currently the largest youth hostel in Xining. The hostel has a restaurant, a reading room, a communal room and a roof garden as well as other facilities. The basement is equipped with a gymnasium and the hostel has a large outdoor parking area.
Convenient to transportation and with a beautiful environment the hostel is the ideal location and a second home to many travelers and back-packers.

Directions how to get to the Hostel
From the Xining train or coach station take the No.3 or No.103 bus to the Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel and take a taxi from there which will cost you about 12 Yuan.
From the bus station on Xining Road take the No.58 bus to the Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel and take a taxi from there which will cost you about 10 Yuan.
From the airport take an airport coach to the air-ticket office in the downtown area at a cost of about 15 Yuan then take a taxi to the hostel. If you take a taxi direct from the airport to the hostel it will cost about 100 Yuan.
If you are in Ximen, which is in the center of the city, take the No.84, No.4, No.34 or No.58 bus to the Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel and take the taxi from there which will cost you about 6 Yuan.
Nanchan East Road is the correct route to Huangzhong county, Guide County and Taer Lamasery and the Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel is located at No.18 -1 on Nanchuan East Road.
